PatchPlus Consulting (PPC) seeks cyber professionals to provide course development and instruction for Guardians executing Defensive Cyber Warfare (DCW) to support a United States Space Force (USSF) customer in Colorado Springs, CO. -Organize and conduct simulated cyber events to immerse students in real-world cyber scenarios, fostering practical skills and decision-making abilities.
-Develop and facilitate scenario-based exercises that challenge students to apply their cyber skills in real-world scenarios, enhancing their problem-solving abilities.
-Design and develop training objectives, curricula, instructor guides, student guides, job aids, course outlines, and other course material utilizing instructional design models
-Consult with client to develop learning objectives and training approach
-Research, analyze, design, develop, and customize instructional materials to potentially support WBT (Web-Based Training)/CBT (Computer-Based Training)/ILT (Instructor-Led Training)
-Apply various instructional strategies, models, and theories to develop learning content to enhance learning transfer and greater on-the-job performance
-Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure impactful, relevant course content and supporting training range
-Present/Instruct developed courseware
REQUIREMENTS:
-U.S. Citizenship
-Secret security clearance
-BS/BA in Information Technology, Cybersecurity, Data Science, Information Systems, or Computer Science
-OR- a Certified Information Systems Security Officer (CISSO) within 60 days of hire (other certification can be approved in lieu of CISSO)
-3 years of cyber security experience with emphasis on cybersecurity course training development and 3 years of experience with SIEM/IDS/IPS (Elastic Stack, Splunk, HBSS, or equivalent)
-Strong background /familiarity with Windows and Linux command line, networking, traffic analysis and MITRE ATT&CK
-Experience working on a cybersecurity team, such as a Security Operations Center (SOC), Cyber Protection Team (CPT) or Cyber Security Service Provider (CSSP)
