Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Senior Salesforce Developer to support a federal program focused on enterprise-level Salesforce platform development. This fully remote role emphasizes custom development, architecture, and integration across Salesforce environments including Service Cloud, Experience Cloud, and Tableau CRM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead custom development using Apex , Lightning Web Components (LWC) , Aura , JavaScript , and related technologies (75% hands-on coding).
- Architect and manage integrations across multiple Salesforce platforms.
- Collaborate with Product Owners and Agile teams to gather requirements and propose scalable solutions.
- Mentor junior developers, conduct code reviews, and ensure adherence to Salesforce best practices.
- Participate in the full software development lifecycle: design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
- Maintain technical documentation and assist in defect resolution across environments.
Required Qualifications:
Education & Certifications:
- Bachelor's degree in a related field
- Salesforce Platform Developer I & II Certifications (validated via Trailhead)
Experience:
- 10+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience (Apex, LWC, Aura, Visualforce, SOQL/SOSL)
- 3+ years leading Salesforce Lightning implementations
- Strong understanding of Salesforce architecture, security, and development standards
- Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Copado), version control (GitHub, BitBucket), and IDE tools (VS Code, IntelliJ)
Soft Skills:
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
- Strong multitasking and problem-solving skills
- Ability to provide technical assistance and user support
Preferred Skills:
- Experience with SOAP/REST APIs , HTML/CSS/XML , jQuery , and Bootstrap
- Familiarity with AWS and cloud infrastructure
- Experience with Agile methodologies (SAFe, Scrum, Kanban)
- Agile certifications (e.g., SAFe Agilist, SAFe Practitioner)
- Prior experience in healthcare services , insurance , or other regulated industries
Work Schedule & Expectations:
- Full-time, remote position
- Must be available Monday-Friday, 9AM-5PM EST
- Daily meeting attendance is mandatory
- No side-projects or part-time roles permitted
- Occasional off-hours work for deployments (pre-arranged)
