ELECTRONICS ENGINEER ASSOCIATE
Electronics Engineer Associate- The Electronics Engineer Associate will be responsible for the execution and documentation of various Electromagnetic Interference/Compatibility (EMI/EMC), power quality, and diverse radio frequency (RF) test activities alongside experienced professionals for a multitude of systems. The Electronics Engineer will also support niche fields related to this position. The opening is for a technician with a highly inquisitive desire to develop technical expertise and contribute broadscale to the Warfighter. On-site training will be provided.
Responsibilities
-Conduct testing on DoD systems and subsystems to a multitude of military standards such as MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, and MIL-STD-1399.
-Interface clearly and professionally with various customers during testing
-Maintain lab schedules and perpetually increase testing efficiency
-Safely and precisely operate specialized electronic testing equipment
-Interpret and create data in graphical or other forms of analyses
-Keep a clean and organized lab space
-Draft and maintain test documentation and data files
-Assist with managing test equipment calibration schedules
-Perform shipping, receiving and warehouse functions as required
-Ability and willingness to travel as needed
-Complete yearly training as directed for general employment
Requirements
-Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or Physics
-Ability to obtain, possess and maintain a SECRET clearance
-US Citizenship
-Knowledge of RF theory and test equipment, Antennas, Electromagnetics (EM), EM Fields and Waves through coursework or employment
Desired Experience
Two (2) years or more of experience in the following areas: Preparing E3 technical documents, which include test plans/reports, analytical evaluations, and presentations; knowledge in antenna system verification testing; application of military standards, handbooks, and specifications; MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-464, DOD-STD-1399 Section 407, MIL-STD-1399 and MIL-STD-704.
Coding proficiency in MATLAB, Python, C++ or similar
