Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Driver in Albuquerque, NM, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more.

What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Carry out security-related procedures and site-specific policies in accordance with Allied Universal and client expectations.
• Provide customer service to all individuals at the location by addressing questions and/or concerns and assisting as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, including emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the facility and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter disruptive behavior and unauthorized access within the government environment.
• Complete detailed and timely reports on incidents, observations, and security-related matters observed during patrols.
• Collaborate with local law enforcement and emergency responders as required by the situation or site protocols.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
