Job Description
As a Security Officer - Driving Patrol - Financial Site in Tampa, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas at a prominent financial institution, helping to deter security-related incidents through regular, visible patrols. Your role will include engaging with clients and visitors, providing exceptional customer service, and responding promptly to any situations that arise. This position requires a valid driver's license in the job state, as driving responsibilities are part of your daily duties. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities within financial institution locations.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order and security-related functions.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the business areas and perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and identify potential security-related concerns.
- Observe and report any unusual activities or security-related incidents within the assigned location.
- Work collaboratively with site staff and Allied Universal management to address concerns and uphold site-specific protocols.
- Complete required documentation and reports related to occurrences, observations, and actions taken during patrols or incidents.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.

Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Be at least 21+ years of age for this post.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
