ABOUT THE JOB:
The ideal candidate must have experience in wire bonding techniques and microelectronic manufacturing processes. You will play a crucial role in the production of our high-quality electronic components, ensuring that our products meet the highest standards. Should be familiar with bonding complex microelectronic modules and familiar with manual gold ball, wedge, and ribbon bonding. Should be familiar with manual bonding equipment (e. g., Westbond, etc.) with semi-auto, and automatic bonding equipment. Prefer experience working with adhesives, gluing and epoxy's. Must be able to work with a microscope for an entire shift.

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations. ABOUT THE JOB:

WHAT YOU'LL DO:
- Perform component wire bonding functions in the production of microelectronic devices. Operates manual and semi-automatic wire bonders and bond pull tester in performing wire bonding functions.
- Work on assignments specified by build sheets, ICD, and engineering drawing requiring attention to detail, high quality and consistent work rate.
- Able to independently set-up and make minor adjustments on wire bond machine.
- Able to work with technicians, engineers and technical personnels, determine optimum wire bonding parameters, including but not limited to adjusting loop heights.
- Discuss technical problems encountered with supervisor or technical personnel.
- Perform 0.001" gold, alloy and manganin wire bonding using manual, semi-auto and automated machines to duroid and ceramic substrates, capacitors, resistors, diodes, spirals and other microelectronic components.
- Utilization of measurement equipment (e.g. reticle, indicator, micro-scope, bond puller) to check parameters during and after work completion to ensure that the unit conforms to specifications.
- Inspect and test wire bonds to ensure quality and compliance with specifications.
- Performs gluing and bonding alumina materials
- Mixed glue and epoxy, using hands tool
- Assembled micro-electronic components, such as temp diodes, and capacitor
- High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification in electronics, microelectronics, or a related field is preferred.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a wire bonding or microelectronic manufacturing role.
- Proficiency with automated wire bonding machinery and manual wire bonding techniques.
- Adhere to cleanroom protocols and safety guidelines to maintain a safe and efficient work environment.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain an active U.S. Secret security clearance.
