FINANCIAL MANAGEMENT: Selectee or incumbent must be able to obtain the appropriate certification level for their position. This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position. IAW Public Law 112-81 and DoD Policy the incumbent shall comply with the requirements of DoD FM Certification program within the allotted timeframe. Only experience and education obtained by the closing date of this announcement will be considered.

As a SUPERVISORY BUDGET ANALYST at the GS-0560-12 some of your typical work assignments may include:
- Performs budget formulation/execution work involving preparation of detail analyses of annual and/or multi-year budget estimates for assigned organizations/programs into a consolidated budget request.
- Performs budget execution and administration work involving the monitoring of obligations incurred and the actual expenditures of a budget with different sources and types of funding.
- Supervises Resource Management Branch employees and functions.
- Manages Defense Travel System and Government Purchase Card programs.
- Manages the Human Resource functions to include coordinating with J1 for recruitment actions.

- This is a Financial Management Level 2 Certified position IAW the National Defense Authorization Act (NDAA) 2012, Public Law 112-81, Subtitle F-Financial Management, Section 1599d.
- Travel and relocation expenses, if approved, will be paid IAW JTR and AFMAN 36-606

- Administering and coordinating a Resource Management Program, and resolving diverse, complex, and interdependent Budgetary and Human Resource matters.
- Acting as a Resource Advisor, advising management on issues relative to Planning, Programming, Budgeting and Executing of resources.
- Advising management on Human Resource Management and managing request for personnel actions.
