Help

• Performs or directs the accounting management of the fund.
• Develops, monitors, reviews and/or analyzes financial reports, payroll, accounts payable, internal review follow-up and banking data.
• Develops and revises in-house data to meet new requirements.
• Provides guidance and direction necessary to effectively accomplish mission requirements.

• PER AR 380-67, NON-US CITIZENS WILL NOT HAVE THE ABILITY TO OBTAIN THE REQUIRED T3 (SECRET) INVESTIGATION, THEREFORE, WILL BE UNABLE TO QUALIFY UNDER CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT.
• Subject to satisfactory completion of all pre-employment checks in accordance with AR 215-3, para.2 to include a Tier 3 background investigation.

Qualifications

Resumes must be two pages (or less). Resumes should clearly demonstrate the applicant's relevant experience, skills, knowledge and abilities as they pertain to this position.

A qualified candidate must possess the following:

• A bachelor's degree is required which includes a minimum of 24 semester hours in accounting and work experience of the type described above.

or

• Combination of education and experience -- at least 4 years of experience in accounting, or an equivalent combination of accounting experience, college-level education, and training that provided professional accounting knowledge .

The applicant's background must also include one of the following:

• Twenty-four semester hours in accounting or auditing courses of appropriate type and quality. This can include up to 6 hours of business law.
• A certificate as Certified Public Accountant or a Certified Internal Auditor, obtained through written examination; or
• Completion of the requirements for a degree that included substantial course work in accounting or auditing, e.g., 15 semester hours, but that does not fully satisfy the 24-semester-hour requirement.

Experience MUST be reflected on RESUME in order to receive credit.

Allowances and Differentials

• This job is part of a pay-banded system. Sunday premium pay for regularly scheduled employees and night differential pay may be authorized by the Garrison Commander.
• Non-foreign overseas allowances, cost of living (COLA), and differentials will not be paid, contingent upon eligibility.
