Job Description

Trilogy Innovations is seeking a Business Development Analyst to remotely support our federal business development efforts. This role combines strategic research and analytical work with operational and scheduling coordination that keeps our business development team running efficiently. The primary work location is hybrid remote, with preferred proximity (within 50 miles) to either our Morgantown or Bridgeport, WV office locations.

Role Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in business, communications, public administration, political science, or related field.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in federal business development, market analysis, proposal support, or capture support.
  • Experience with CRM tools.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively use AI-based tools.
  • Strong analytical, communication (written and verbal), and organizational skills.
  • Ability to evaluate opportunities, work within teams, and develop critical tasks.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 and SharePoint.
  • Occasional travel (estimated <10%) may be required to attend events and meetings, including travel to Washington, D.C., or partner/customer locations."
  • Team-first attitude with the ability to organize multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently or as part of a team.
  • U.S. citizenship required; ability to obtain a security clearance.


Preferred Requirements
  • Experience supporting proposals for government agencies.
  • Familiarity with federal acquisition regulations (FAR), government procurement processes, and major contract vehicles (GSA, IDIQs, GWACs).
  • Proficiency or familiarity in tools such as GovWin, SAM.gov, FPDS, and CRM platforms (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Understanding of Small Business programs.


Responsibilities
  • Research, analyze, track, and manage federal contract opportunities within our core competencies.
  • Research, analyze, and recommend target agencies, programs, and contract vehicles aligned with our core competencies.
  • Maintain Trilogy's Business Development (BD) pipeline of qualified opportunities, request for information, white papers, and proposals to produce reports for leadership review.
  • Coordinate and support the development of data calls, white papers, and request for information.
  • Assist with drafting and editing corporate experience, resume, and proposal content.
  • Support development of capability statements and BD collateral tailored to target agencies.
  • Prepare executive briefing decks, meeting notes, reports, and marketing materials.
  • Support pursuit/capture planning and bid/no-bid decisions with data-driven insights.
  • Coordinate with the contracts team for the execution of all contractual documentation.
  • Manage team calendars, meeting schedules, and action item tracking.
  • Maintain relationships with industry partners and attend networking events.
