TITLE: Senior Advanced Systems Engineer with ACTIVE Secret clearance
RATE RANGE: $70-$88/hr W2 (no health benefits while on contract)
CLEARANCE: ACTIVE Secret Security clearance
LOCATION: Scottsdale, AZ, local to Scottsdale, Hybrid or remote

Geologics is currently seeking a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer - Tracking Systems Engineer in Scottsdale, AZ
As a Senior Advanced Systems Engineer - Tracking Systems Engineer, you'll be a member of a cross-functional team responsible for developing and deploying the state-of-the-art ground operational system.

Ground system design or scheduling knowledge
Tracking mission design knowledge
Satellite communications knowledge
Ground to Satellite communication knowledge
System/Software design for cloud-based microservice architecture
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE:
Technical Background:
Systems Engineering: Proficiency in systems engineering, decomposing requirements into architecture, internal and external interfaces, design behavior with emphasis on:
Software/Systems engineering: Experience decomposing the high-level space-ground systems design into ground software/systems design
Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE): Experience with MBSE methodologies and tools such as, CAMEO or MagicDraw
Programming and Tools Skills: Familiarity with programming languages such as Java, Python, and MATLAB, including for software developer coordination, system analysis, prototype algorithm development, or modeling
Cloud Computing: Knowledge of cloud technologies and their application in system design and deployment
Simulation and Modeling: Background in simulation and modeling analysis with tools like STK, particularly in aerospace applications a plus
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
Requires a Bachelor's degree in Systems Engineering, or a related Science, Engineering or Mathematics field. Also requires 8+ years of job-related experience, or a Master's degree plus 6 years of job-related experience. Agile experience preferred.

- Collaborate with customers, mission partners, and other key stakeholders to translate requirements into robust system designs within a fast-moving timeline
- Decomposition of end-to-end system requirements into architecture, design, interfaces, and test cases
- Coordination with developers and integration and test teams to ensure component development meet system mission needs
