Job Title: Traveling Journeyman Electrician – Cleared Contract
Location: U.S. Air Force Bases Nationwide (Travel Required)
Clearance Required: Active Secret Clearance
Contract Duration: 3–4 Months per Base
Per Diem & Travel: Per diem provided; travel expenses covered
Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and cleared Journeyman Electrician to support Base Infrastructure Modernization projects across multiple U.S. Air Force installations. This is a traveling role, with each base project expected to last approximately 3 to 4 months. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electrical systems, safety compliance, and hands-on experience in residential, commercial, or industrial environments. All travel-related expenses are covered, and a daily per diem is provided to support lodging and meals while on assignment.
Responsibilities:
Inspect electrical components and systems to ensure safety, functionality, and compliance
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and electrical codes
Install, maintain, and repair electrical wiring, systems, and fixtures
Support modernization efforts including infrastructure upgrades and system replacements
Collaborate with project teams to meet deadlines and maintain quality standards
Travel to various Air Force bases as part of a rotating modernization schedule
Requirements:
Valid Journeyman Electrician License (state-specific accepted)
Active Secret Clearance required
Proven experience in residential, commercial, or industrial electrical work
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, tools, and safety procedures
Ability to travel and work on-site for extended periods (3–4 months per location)
Familiarity with DoD or federal infrastructure projects is a plus
