Boeing Global Services (BGS) is currently seeking a Lead F-22 Modification/Repair Technician to support our F-22 program out of Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at JB Elmendorf-Richardson, AK.
Position Responsibilities:
This position requires an active U.S. Secret Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship Required). (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active).

Education/experience typically acquired through basic education (e.g. High School diploma/GED) and typically 7 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. vocational school/Associate+5 years' related work, Bachelor+2 years' related work, etc.)

Position Responsibilities:
- Leads the assembly, disassembly and modification of systems by overseeing the change, removal, replacement or upgrade of aerospace vehicle components to correct failures or implement changes.
- Oversees assembly, disassembly or overhaul.
- Configures aerospace vehicles and bench test equipment.
- Directs troubleshooting of complex pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical systems to isolate mechanical or electrical faults and repair faulty components.
- Oversees validation/verification testing of systems and components.
- Documents procedures and established processes to ensure contractual and regulatory compliance (e.g., repairs, test results, applicable modifications and inspection results).
- Inspects components and verifies repairs for flight worthiness requirements.
- Leads and supervises others to perform tasks associated with the safe handling of an aerospace vehicle (e.g. jacking, towing, system operations).
- Provides training and mentors others.
- Works under minimal direction.

Basic Qualifications:
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with Electrical/Avionics on military aircrafts
- Minimum of 3 years' experience with aircraft modifications, upgrades, or retrofit projects
- Must have a thorough knowledge of aircraft electrical component troubleshooting, repair procedures and replacement of parts, requires broad knowledge of aircraft modifications and repair.
- Must have thorough knowledge of aircraft unique tools such as test equipment, torque wrenches, dial indicators, micrometers, multimeters, and DMC tooling.
- Must be willing to work variable shifts. Schedule based on program/site needs.
- Must be willing to travel up to 25% of the time.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience repairing, and servicing military fighter aircraft F-15, F-16, F-18, A-10, F-22, F-35
- 1+ year(s) of aircraft maintenance leadership experience
- 1+ year(s) of 5th generation aircraft maintenance experience
