Northrop Grumman is currently seeking a Principal Pricing Analyst/Senior Principal Pricing Analyst (can be hired at either level), to join our Marine Systems team in Sunnyvale, CA. This position is preferred to be onsite but can accommodate remote telework for exceptional candidates who will support West Coast core work hours between 8 am to 6 pm.
What You Will Get To Do:
Our Pricing Analyst will work closely on a day-to-day basis with the Program Managers/Directors, Business Managers, Contracts Managers, Operations Managers, Capture Managers, and functional teams. Your pricing duties will be to provide support for major capture and proposal efforts.

Primary Level Salary Range: $82,600.00 - $136,800.00
Secondary Level Salary Range: $103,200.00 - $170,300.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Prioritize proposal activities and working on multiple tasks simultaneously
- Develop, evaluate and implement pricing strategies and models based upon current business and competitive market dynamics
- Conducts research and perform competitive pricing analysis
- Monitor ongoing competitive environment to ensure practices do not adversely impact company reputation or customer satisfaction
- Partners with Contracts, Business Development and Finance to correctly position product portfolio and establish pricing programs aligned with product/sales strategy and revenue recognition requirements
- Project impact of pricing changes, individual promotions and rebate programs on revenue
- Creates/administers pricing databases and coordinates implementation of pricing proposals across the organization
Basic Qualifications for Principal Pricing Analyst:
- Principal Pricing Analyst: Bachelor's degree with 5 years of business management, contracts, or pricing experience - OR - Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience
- Experience pricing, negotiating, or administering various contract types and working with DoD proposals
Basic Qualifications for Sr Principal Pricing Analyst:
- Senior Principal Pricing Analyst: Bachelor's degree with 8 years of business management, contracts, or pricing experience - OR - Master's degree with 6 years of professional experience
- Experience pricing, negotiating, or administering various contract types and working with DoD proposals
Preferred Qualifications for both levels:
- Ability to build customer relationships early on
- Make decisions in a timely manner, under tight deadlines and pressure
- Ensure compliance with FAR and DFARS and act with agility
- Partner with a multitude of organizations ranging from technical, program, finance, global supply chain, global mobility office and security for seamless pricing support
