Northrop Grumman Space Systems-Launch and Missile Defense Systems offer an excellent opportunity for a Computer Operations Analyst-Regional Computer Operations Support Analyst (COSA) (25-530) to join our team of skilled and diverse professionals. Based at Schriever Space Force Base in Colorado Springs, CO, this role plays a crucial part in supporting the U.S. President, the Secretary of Defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and operational levels.
This position does not include relocation support and requires on-site presence with no remote work options.
Position Overview:
The Command and Control, Battle Management, and Communications (C2BMC) program is a vital part of the Missile Defense System. It offers a crucial operational platform that enables the U.S. president, the secretary of defense, and combatant commanders at strategic, regional, and tactical levels to systematically plan missile defense operations, monitor battle progress, and actively control networked sensors and weapon systems to meet both global and regional mission goals. C2BMC provides a layered missile defense capability, delivering an optimized response to threats across all ranges and flight phases. It acts as a force multiplier by connecting, integrating, and synchronizing autonomous sensor and weapon systems and operations both worldwide and locally to boost overall performance. Furthermore, C2BMC is a key component in all ground and flight tests that verify and demonstrate the missile defense system's current and future capabilities.
The selected candidate will join a team reporting to the C2BMC Watch Officer (CWO) and will oversee daily system monitoring, operations, and maintenance of the C2BMC systems in a 24/7 operational and testing environment.

Primary Level Salary Range: $72,900.00 - $110,900.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.

- Provide first-level technical support to the warfighter and perform initial troubleshooting of all local C2BMC hardware, software, and networks
- Document and report all events/issues to the CWO and receive tasks and direction from the CCC for all operations, tests, and real-world events
- Assist with all hardware and software installations as directed by the local SMEs and will create and maintain user accounts as directed by the local ISSO
- Focus on lab and testing activities
- Solid background and experience in troubleshooting hardware and software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Performs additional duties and assignments as needed
Basic Qualifications:

- A Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field from an accredited university is preferred, along with 2 years of experience; or a Master's degree in a related field with 0 years of relevant work experience; or 6 years of relevant work experience may be considered as an alternative to a degree
- Applicants must have a current, active in-scope DoD-issued Secret security clearance at the time of application, which is required to start with the ability to obtain TS/SCI security clearance
- Applicants must possess a current, active DoD 8140 certification at IAT Level II or higher (such as Security+, GSEC, SCNP, SSCP, CISSP, CISA, GSE, SCNA, etc.) at the time of application, which is required to start. The candidate is responsible for maintaining their DoD 8140 certification throughout the entire contract period.
- The position involves rotating 24/7 shift work. The candidate will be assigned to a specific shift and either Ops or Training, depending on mission needs. Some substitutions during off-shifts, including nights and weekends, might be required
- Extensive background and experience in overseeing operations and maintenance of large-scale computer, communication, and networking systems
