You will be the Subcontract Management Senior for the THAAD Global Supply Chain team. Our team is responsible for managing dynamic, high‑complexity subcontracts that support the development and redesign of major THAAD assemblies, driving program success through strategic subcontract oversight and ensuring exceptional customer satisfaction.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Subcontract Management Senior, you will be responsible for leading the end‑to‑end subcontract lifecycle on the THAAD program. You'll partner with engineering, finance, and program leadership to devise, negotiate, and execute subcontract strategies that meet cost, schedule, and performance goals while mitigating risk.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

  • Developing and executing subcontract strategies for new and redesign projects across multiple major assemblies.

  • Leading negotiations, drafting, and finalizing subcontract agreements in alignment with program requirements and compliance standards.

  • Managing subcontract performance, including milestone tracking, earned value analysis, and corrective action plans.

  • Identifying and mitigating subcontract‑related risks; escalating issues to senior leadership as needed.

  • Mentoring junior subcontract analysts and fostering a culture of continuous improvement within the team.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - This position is located at a facility that requires special access. The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university

• Prior professional experience working Supply Chain Management (SCM) fundamentals including, processes, procedures, policies, systems, and overall understanding of subcontracts

• Knowledge of acquisition policies and procedures such as FAR / DFAR / TINA

• Ability to obtain secret security clearance
Desired Skills:
• CAM experience on a Cost-Plus contract types

• Experience leading cross-functional teams

• Strong negotiation skills and an understanding of complex contractual terms and conditions

• Strong communication and problem-solving skills

• Willingness to adapt and learn
Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Ability to Work Remotely: Part-time Remote Telework: The employee selected for this position will work part of their work schedule remotely and part of their work schedule at a designated Lockheed Martin facility. The specific weekly schedule will be discussed during the hiring process.
Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.
Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
