Experience with the military and familiarity with staff organization and protocols are desirable.
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Primary planner and facilitator for the biannual USINDOPACOM Joint Exercise Planners Course.
- Develop and oversee directorate-level joint training program and events focused on USINDOPACOM objectives.
- Lead cross-functional teams to plan and execute training events.
- Coordinate with INDOPACOM staff, Joint Staff J7, service components, and other combatant commands to ensure seamless training integration.
- Manage documentation, metrics, and reports using the Joint Training Tool (JTT).
- Evaluate training effectiveness, recommend enhancements, and prepare briefings for senior leaders.
- Ensure compliance with DoD directives, USINDOPACOM policy, and theater engagement priorities.
- Assist other training personnel as required.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelors and ten (10)+ years of related experience; additional four (4) years of experience accepted in lieu of degree.
- Proven experience planning and implementing training events.
- Understanding of joint training doctrine (CJCSI 3500 series), campaign planning, and theater security cooperation.
- Skilled in working with JTT, Defense Readiness Reporting System (DRRS), and Task Messaging System (TMS).
- Able to translate strategic objectives into executable training scenarios.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to lead diverse teams.
- PMP or other project/program management certification preferred.
REQUIRED CLEARANCE:
- Must have an active Secret clearance with ability to obtain a TSSCI.
- Must have current US Citizenship.
