Job Description

As a Security Professional - Residential Patrol Driver in Diamond Bar, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Residential, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol residential areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a welcoming presence to residents and visitors. This role involves routine patrolling in a vehicle, so a valid driver's license is required. You will serve as a key point of contact, delivering exceptional customer service, clear communication, and embodying our values of agility, reliability, and caring teamwork. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to residents and guests by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, respond to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and/or critical situations at the residential location in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the residential community and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Observe and report any suspicious behavior, hazards, or security-related concerns to the appropriate authorities and/or site management.
• Maintain detailed and accurate daily activity logs and incident reports as required by Allied Universal and site procedures.
• Assist residents and visitors with questions, directions, and access as needed, while maintaining a professional presence.
• Follow all Allied Universal policies and procedures and uphold the standards expected at residential locations.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
