Our Deloitte Strategy & Transactions team helps guide clients through their most critical moments and transformational initiatives. From strategy to execution, this team delivers integrated, end-to-end support and advisory services covering valuation modeling, cost optimization, restructuring, government operations modernization, business design and transformation, infrastructure and real estate, mergers and acquisitions (M&A), and sustainability. Work alongside clients every step of the way, helping them navigate new challenges, avoid financial pitfalls, and provide practical solutions at every stage of their journey-before, during, and after any major transformational projects or transactions.
Work You'll Do
Deloitte has been engaged to support the client in IT business management, cybersecurity management, data management, infrastructure management, and network security modernization management. You will be part of a large and dynamic team enabling the client to fulfill its primary mission of protecting and providing access to the right technology and data to empower the client's mission. The client works with operational, intelligence, business, and technology divisions and field offices to jointly prioritize technical and informational needs and drive informed, secure, and strategic investments.
The Business Process Analyst assists the client in the lead collection, capture, and management of mission user needs from prioritization through concept development, and user story writing to support development and deployment. Facilitates the gathering of business focused requirements to support a product team and product owner in defining the backlog and ensuring the users perspective is considered. Focus requirements gathering on improved usability, user experience, and driving user adoption and engagement. Identifies core business needs and decompose and document in concepts of operation, story maps, briefings, and user stories; documents business rules and constructs workflow diagrams as needed. Provides consultation on complex projects while considering the business implications of the application of technology to the current and future business environment. Ability to comprehend, analyze, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills.
1. Analyzes current business processes, workflows, and procedures to identify inefficiencies and bottlenecks, recommends improvements or changes.
2. Collects, analyzes, and interprets data to understand and explain process performance to identify areas for improvement.
3. Works closely with internal and external stakeholders to gather requirements, understand positive and negative issues, and gather buy-in for proposed changes.
4. Develops and recommends solutions for business process improvement with new processes, technologies, or system implementations.
5. Assists with implementing proposed changes to new and old systems, monitors the effectiveness, proposes and makes changes or adjustments as needed for continuous/ continued improvements.
6. Documents current processes as well as new processes, creates process maps, and maintains process documentation.
7. Communicates effectively the process improvement and reasons for change management, documents the requirements to ensure and provide a smooth transition.
8. Continuously stays current with industry trends, technology, and process improvement methodologies to expand and improve on in-place processes or improve on processes that may be coming.
9. Strong analytical skills to be able to identify the root cause of the problem or issue, develops creative ideas or solutions, and communicates them effectively in written and verbal manner.

Qualifications
Required:
o Bachelor's degree
o Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
o Active Top Secret security clearance required
o Must be currently located in Clarksburg, WV or willing to relocate
o 3+ years experience in user requirements gathering, business process mapping and data analysis
Preferred:
o Six Sigma Certifications
o PMI Agile Certified Practitioner
o ITIL Foundations
o BPM Certification
o CBPP, CBAP, SCM, CBPA, TOGAF, ACP
