Job Description

As a Security Officer - Armed Patrol Healthcare in Fayetteville, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an Armed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal in a healthcare location, you will conduct regular patrols and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact with staff, patients, and visitors while providing outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients, staff, and visitors by performing security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, including emergency response activities as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism at all times.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the healthcare location, including both interior areas and the exterior perimeter.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity and/or access by maintaining a visible presence and monitoring for unusual behavior.
• Support security-related operations by documenting incidents, reporting observations, and communicating with other Allied Universal personnel as required.
• Assist with access control processes, visitor management, and enforcement of location-specific policies.
• Collaborate with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required by site protocols.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and/or regulations.
• Provide proof of a high school diploma or General Education Diploma equivalent as required by the client.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
