Job Description

As a Security Professional - Logistics Center Patrol in Hopewell Junction, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible presence throughout the site. You will conduct routine patrols and support access control while delivering outstanding customer service and clear communication. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as participating in emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to help maintain order within the logistics and distribution environment.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility, including the perimeter and loading areas, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential security-related issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and critical access points to help to deter unauthorized entry and/or suspicious behavior.
• Communicate observed security-related concerns and/or incidents to Allied Universal management and site leadership as required.
• Support site operations by assisting with access control and visitor management in accordance with company procedures.
• Observe and report any irregularities, such as property damage, equipment malfunctions, or unusual behavior, to help maintain operational integrity at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Experience with access control or badge systems is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
