Qualifications
GS-12: Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-11 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following:
- Experience in production, planning, scheduling, and execution of shipyard projects.
- Experience applying naval shipyard project management concepts and skill in negotiating distribution of production resources.
- Experience negotiating difficult situations through the use of crucial conversation to achieve resolution and maintaining progress.
- Experience utilizing individual shop capabilities and management structures to support project execution.
- Experience utilizing computer-based programs, including naval shipyard specific programs as well as Microsoft Office programs.
- Experience utilizing resource allocation process and shipyard WARR to effectively manage workload distribution.
- Experience collecting and analyzing data to ensure established goals are reached.
- Experience leading, supervising, and managing personnel and teams to accomplish organizational objectives.

- Experience identifying, placing, and leveling Shipyard resource/manning requirements as related to a project.
- Experience conducting risk assessments

- You will work with shop/division and department resource providers to update the project Shipyard Workload and Resource Report.
- You will coordinate use of a standardized workload and resource forecasting process for assigned projects to better forecast and predict project needs as related to manning, facilities, equipment, tooling, etc.
- You will work closely with managers and supervisors to ensure the project is executed smoothly with respect to resource management.
- You will enforce all established safety rules and requirements.
