SALARY:

$108,888 - $155,554.33

The Oracle Database Administrator will primarily focus on analyzing existing business requirements to understand current functionalities, data flows, and pain points. The role will then leverage this understanding to elicit and write comprehensive business requirements for new systems or enhancements. The role will collaborate closely with business stakeholders, product owners, and technical teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and system capabilities.

Responsibilities

  • Identify alternative solutions, perform studies and cost/benefit analysis of alternatives.
  • Analyzes user requirements, procedures, and problems to automate processing or to improve existing computer system: Confers with personnel of organizational units involved to analyze current operational procedures, identify problems, and learn specific input and output requirements, such as forms of data input, how data is to be; summarized, and formats for reports.
  • Writes detailed description of user needs, program functions, and steps required to develop or modify computer program.
  • Reviews computer system capabilities, specifications, and scheduling limitations to determine if requested program or program change is possible within existing system.
  • Translating complex business needs into clear, actionable requirements.
  • Other duties as assigned .


Qualifications

Here's What You Need
  • 8 years of hands-on experience in data architecture, data modeling, and data warehousing.
  • 8 years' experience in Oracle Database architecture, administration, and performance tuning
  • 8 years' hands-on experience with Oracle RAC (Real Application Clusters) configuration and management.
  • 8 years' experience with data architecture principles and best practices.
  • 8 years' experience in writing complex SQL, PL/SQL, procedures, and performance-optimized queries
  • 8 years' experience with Oracle Data Guard and high availability/disaster recovery strategies
  • 8 years' experience with cloud-native database services and PaaS offerings
  • 8 years' experience in database backup, restore, and recovery operations using RMAN
  • 8 years' experience in cloud infrastructure management, including understanding of cloud-based data storage options, cloud security considerations, and best practices for deploying applications in the cloud.
  • 8 years' experience in developing and maintaining enterprise data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support analytics and reporting.
  • 8 years' experience evaluating and integrating emerging technologies such as AI, machine learning, and big data analytics in healthcare.
  • 8 years' experience in DevOps environments with CI/CD pipelines for database changes.
  • Possess strong data analysis skills, an ability to document current state processes, and a proactive approach to identifying opportunities for process and system improvements.
  • Must be able to pass a background check. May require additional background checks as required by projects and/or clients at any time during employment .

  • Proficient in MS Office, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Excel.


Desired Qualifications:
  • 8 years' experience transforming monolithic, on-premises data structures to microservice-aligned schemas.
  • 8 years' experience with structured Enterprise Architecture practices, hybrid cloud deployments, and on-premise-to-cloud migration deployments and roadmaps
  • 8 years' experience explaining complex technical concepts to a non-technical audience.
  • 8 years' experience and understanding of the Information Management principles, IT processes, SDLC, architecture and technologies adopted by an organization.
  • 8 years' experience with a customer-focused ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
  • Proactive Leadership style; self-starter and strong attention to detail.
  • 3 years' experience within an integrated eligibility case management system.

Working Conditions
  • Professional office environment.
  • Hybrid on-site and telework with the ability to work on-site in Austin, TX.
  • Must be physically and mentally able to perform duties extended periods of time.
  • Ability to use a computer and other office productivity tools with sufficient speed to meet the demands of this position.
  • Must be able to establish a productive and professional workspace.
  • Must be able to sit for long periods of time looking at computer screen.
  • May be asked to work a flexible schedule which may include holidays.
  • May be asked to travel for business or professional development purposes.
  • May be asked to work hours outside of normal business hours.
