Chenega IT Enterprise Services (CITES) offers forward-thinking technology solutions to federal agencies and the DoD. Formed in 2016 to serve federal customers CONUS, CITES has grown quickly into a best practices leader for the modern federal enterprise.

The Logistics and Property Manager will oversee the movement, distribution, and storage of materials and equipment. Control the flow of incoming supplies and equipment and oversee warehouse, inventory control, material handling, customer service, transportation, and planning work. Logistics and Property Manager will prepare reports for management; negotiate shipping and supplier costs, and work to improve supply chain efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Create policies or procedures for logistics activities and property management.
  • Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, customer service logs, or training or safety records.
  • Design models for use in evaluating logistics programs or services.
  • Prepare or file environmental certification applications.
  • Negotiate with suppliers or customers to improve supply chain efficiency or sustainability.
  • Recommend purchase of new or improved technology, such as automated systems.
  • Develop risk management programs to ensure continuity of supply in emergency scenarios.
  • Plan or implement improvements to internal or external logistics systems or processes.
  • Collaborate with other staff to integrate logistics with business systems or processes, such as customer sales, order management, accounting, or shipping.
  • Direct or coordinate comprehensive logistical or reverse logistical functions for product life cycles, including acquisition, distribution, internal allocation, delivery, recycling, reuse, or final disposal of resources.
  • Direct logistics analysis efforts, to include trend analysis, obsolescence and upgrade planning, sparing and provisioning, and support requirements.
  • Directly responsible for asset management, including equipment verification, warehouse operations, and asset tracking.
  • Assist in the definition of budgets, business requirements, analysis of business cases, and development of project plans for logistics and asset management areas. Anticipates problems and works to mitigate risks.
  • As needed, interacts with Government management personnel.
  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
    • Bachelor's Degree preferred.
    • 4+ years of experience may be used in lieu of education.
  • 5+ years of management experience.
  • Interim Secret clearance required.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and a collaborative management style.
  • Excellent computer skills and proficient in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Knowledge of government contract management and experience in organizational effectiveness and operations management, implementing best practices.
  • Demonstrated leadership and vision in logistics and property management for major projects or initiatives.
