Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) is seeking a Bombers Quality Program Senior Manager to support the Mobility, Surveillance, and Bombers (MS&B) organization in Oklahoma City, OK!
This role will serve as a Quality Engineer and Senior Program Manager to lead the Bombers portfolio.
This position requires a Bachelor's degree in one of the following relevant fields of study:
• Engineering
• Computer Science
• Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology)
• Mathematics
• Physics
• Chemistry
Position Responsibilities:
• Manages employees and mid-level managers performing quality engineering and technical activities on or in support of programs through all phases of the product lifecycle.
• Develops quality strategies and plans in support of new business acquisition and execution of program/business plans.
• Provides education and coaching on the Quality System.
• Acquires and manages resources, provides quality technical management and leads performance improvements.
• Develops and maintains relationships and partnerships with customers, stakeholders, peers, partners, suppliers and direct reports.
• Oversees review of technical information to ensure quality and producibility.
• Manages, develops and motivates employees and mid-level managers.
This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at the listed location.
This position requires the ability to obtain a U.S. Security Clearance for which the U.S. Government requires U.S. Citizenship. An Interim and/or final U.S. Secret Clearance Post Start is required.
Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
• Bachelor's Degree or Higher
• 10+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• 10+ years of experience leading and managing diverse teams
• 3+ years of experience working with Defense contracts and customer requirements
• 3+ years of experience with quality tools such as APQP, EQI, RCCA
Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
• 3+ years in a senior management position
• Degree in STEM
• Working experience of pertinent quality improvement tools and techniques including 8D, Six sigma, Value stream mapping and LEAN
• 10+ years of experience working in a manufacturing environment
• 10+ years of experience leading and managing diverse teams
• 3+ years of experience working with Defense contracts and customer requirements
• 3+ years of experience with quality tools such as APQP, EQI, RCCA
Travel:
This position may require travel up to 10% of the time.
