Job Description
As a Security Officer - Logistics Access Control Driver in Waddell, AZ, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.
As an Access Control Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring and patrolling assigned areas. Your presence and attention to detail will support a secure environment for employees and visitors. You will interact with individuals entering and exiting the site, providing exceptional customer service and clear communication. This position requires a valid driver's license as you may be responsible for driving as part of your duties. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by executing security-related access control procedures according to site-specific policies.
- Assist with access control at entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access to the logistics and distribution location.
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and vehicles to maintain order within the premises.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols as necessary.
- Conduct regular and random patrols of the business and perimeter to support the overall security-related environment, adapting to varying working conditions typical of logistics and distribution settings.
- Document and report any irregularities, such as property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Work collaboratively with site personnel and other Allied Universal team members to maintain a secure environment for all individuals on site.

Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
