Job Description

As a Security Professional - Armed Patrol Financial Institution in Cincinnati, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

As a Patrol Armed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at prominent financial institution locations. Your responsibilities will include conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and providing outstanding customer service and communication to staff and visitors. This position requires you to be armed, reflecting the importance of your role in supporting a secure environment. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by following security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, in accordance with established protocols.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the financial institution and its surrounding perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and sensitive areas to help to deter and report suspicious behavior or unauthorized persons.
• Collaborate with on-site staff and local law enforcement as needed to address any security-related concerns.
• Document incidents, activities, and observations in detailed reports for management review.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter potential security-related threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.
• Comply with all relevant laws, regulations, and Allied Universal training standards regarding the carrying and use of firearms while on duty.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
