As a Security Officer - Armed Financial Patrols in Washington, DC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Financial Institutions, and more.

What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations at the location in a calm and problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential concerns.
- Monitor entrances, exits, and other access points to help to deter unauthorized entry.
- Interact professionally with visitors, employees, and/or vendors while upholding security-related protocols.
- Document incidents, observations, and activities according to Allied Universal protocols.
- Work collaboratively with law enforcement and/or emergency responders when required.
- Follow all requirements and procedures related to carrying and managing assigned firearms as per Allied Universal and site-specific policies.

Minimum Requirements:
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- Must possess an active armed guard card or license.
- Must provide proof of a high school diploma or equivalent.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security-related training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
