Job Description
As a Security Professional - Telecom Facility Patrolman in Lebanon, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas within a dynamic tech and media environment. Your presence helps to deter security-related incidents and provides peace of mind to employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, remain visible, and offer exceptional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures and following site-specific policies, as well as responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the tech and telecom location, including interior spaces and the perimeter, to help to deter unauthorized activity and maintain a visible Allied Universal presence.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, communicating with site contacts and/or emergency responders as needed.
- Observe and report security-related irregularities such as property damage, theft, or suspicious activity during patrols.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of activities, incidents, and/or observations as directed by site management.
- Assist in controlling access to restricted areas by verifying credentials and/or monitoring entry points as required by site policies.
- Follow all Allied Universal and client policies and procedures related to security-related operations at the location.

Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
