Job Description

As a Security Professional - Unarmed Patrol Driver in Ocala, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more.

As a Security Officer with Allied Universal in a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols and remain highly visible to help to deter security-related incidents. Your role includes monitoring various areas, assisting with access control, and delivering exceptional customer service through clear communication. This unarmed position is also a driving post, requiring you to operate company vehicles as you support the ongoing protection of people and property. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner to support the operations at logistics and distribution locations.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the premises and surrounding areas to help to deter unauthorized activities and promote a secure environment.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, hazards, or irregularities encountered during patrols or while on post.
• Assist with controlling access to the location by verifying credentials and monitoring entry points as required by site procedures.
• Communicate promptly with Allied Universal management and/or site leadership regarding incidents, hazards, or potential concerns.
• Document all observations, incidents, and actions taken in accordance with Allied Universal protocols and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• A current guard card or license is preferred.
• Experience with access control and/or badge systems is preferred.
• Experience with X-ray screening is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
