As a Security Officer - Access Control Driver in Memphis, TN, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more.

As an Access Control Officer in a healthcare location, you will help to deter security-related incidents by monitoring entrances and exits, verifying credentials, and maintaining a visible presence throughout the site. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Monitor and control access at designated entry points within the healthcare location, verifying credentials and logging visitors as required by site-specific policies.
• Provide customer service to all personnel and visitors, assisting with questions regarding access procedures and building guidelines.
• Carry out security-related procedures and follow site-specific protocols to help to deter unauthorized access within the premises.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols for healthcare environments.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the facility and its perimeter to help to deter security-related risks and identify any irregularities.
• Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining communication with Allied Universal management and on-site contacts as needed.
• Document observations, incidents, and actions taken in detailed reports according to Allied Universal and client standards.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Ability to lift more than 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
