Job Description

As a Security Guard - Industrial Site - Full Time in Lima, OH, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a leading manufacturing and industrial location, you will be responsible for monitoring and patrolling assigned areas to help deter security-related incidents and promote a secure environment. This role requires conducting routine patrols, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service and communication. As this is a driving post, you will utilize your valid driver's license to support your patrol duties. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures and site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter, helping to deter unauthorized activity and/or potential hazards.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other strategic areas to help maintain a secure environment in an industrial location.
• Observe and report any unusual activity, security-related concerns, or potential hazards to the appropriate personnel and/or Allied Universal management.
• Follow all site-specific protocols and instructions provided by Allied Universal and site leadership during daily operations.
• Maintain detailed and accurate logs of patrols, incidents, and observations.
• Assist with access control for employees, visitors, and contractors as required by site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possession of a Transportation Worker Identification Credential issued by the Transportation Security Administration is required.
• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
