Koniag Data Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Cyber SME III HHS GRC CA and IM Branch to support KDS and our government customer in Washington D.C. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust.

The Cyber SME III HHS GRC CA and IM Branch will serve as a key resource on the contract, supporting strategic program operations and oversight functions. The ideal candidate will possess strong project management skills combined with deep cybersecurity expertise to help promote best practices, build partnerships, enhance communications, and improve oversight activities. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact on critical national healthcare cybersecurity initiatives while working with senior stakeholders across federal government. This is a supervisory position.

Strategic Program Operations:
- Support GRC leadership in stakeholder engagements with senior agency officials, congressional leaders, and other key stakeholders
- Prepare detailed analyses, reports, and briefing materials for senior leadership and congressional briefings
- Coordinate with OCIO/OIS executive stakeholder engagement initiatives including CIO and CISO Councils
- Collect, analyze, and interpret program data to provide insights for informed decision-making
- Develop meaningful reports that guide leadership on operational performance and improvement opportunities
- Identify inefficiencies within current processes and provide recommendations for improvements
- Support the development of cohesive GRC products, creating uniformity and enhancing communications
- Track and manage external agency cybersecurity activities and related publications/policies/executive orders/legislation
- Draft comprehensive technical/cybersecurity content and communications
- Support working groups across the GRC Division by engaging stakeholders, developing agendas, facilitating meetings, and providing meeting support
- Develop methods to increase customer support and understanding of GRC programs
- Analyze reporting data to identify trends, gaps, and areas for improvement
- Develop innovative strategies to enhance GRC services and address evolving risks
- Lead and collaborate with program teams to translate data-identified gaps into actionable improvements
- Provide strategic oversight support to various workstreams
- Facilitate cross-team collaboration to share best practices
- Help streamline and optimize oversight activities across the GRC division
Education and Experience:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or related field
- 7+ years of experience in cybersecurity, with at least 5 years in project management
- Experience with federal government cybersecurity frameworks, particularly NIST and FISMA
- Demonstrated experience in stakeholder management at senior leadership levels
- Experience in preparing and delivering executive-level briefings and reports
- Knowledge of governance, risk, and compliance principles and practices in a federal environment
- PMP, CISSP, CISM, or related professional certifications
Required Skills and Competencies:
- Strong project management capabilities with experience managing complex cybersecurity initiatives
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to collect, interpret, and present complex data
- Expert knowledge of federal cybersecurity frameworks, policies, and regulations
- Strong understanding of governance, risk management, and compliance principles
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to translate technical concepts for non-technical audiences
- Experience in process improvement methodologies and operational effectiveness
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders
- Proficiency in creating executive-level reports, briefings, and presentations
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills
- Experience with data analysis and visualization tools
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with changing priorities
- Knowledge of federal government operations and organizational structures
