Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a Network/Cyber Engineer to join a Federal Program located in El Segundo, CA. The Cyber Network Engineer will provide integration assessments and technical analysis across multiple mission areas, working directly with government stakeholders to support technical exchange meetings and briefings.
Responsibilities of the Cyber Network Engineer include:
· Perform network engineering tasks including configuring and setting up routers and switches
· Support cybersecurity functions such as vulnerability management and compliance tracking
· Certify and reaccredit classified and unclassified network systems, stand-alone systems, and mission systems
· Monitor and maintain the Vulnerability Management System; close out SCAP and ACAS scan findings
· Enter closed Technical Compliance Network Orders into the DISA database
· Develop and deliver annual reviews and updates for network and cybersecurity systems
· Install and configure servers from the ground up, including system hardening
Qualifications for the Cyber Network Engineer include:
· STEM Bachelor's degree
· DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification (compliant with DoD 8140 baseline)
· 5+ years of experience in network engineering and cybersecurity
· Hands-on experience with LAN/WAN installation and configuration, including routers, switches, and firewalls
· Proficiency in Windows environments (Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, GPOs)
· Experience with network encryptors, including General Dynamics KG-175F product line
· Must have an active TS/SCI government security clearance
Compensation for the Cyber Network Engineer includes:
· Salary Range: $130,000 - $140,000 depending on experience
