Overview
DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a motivated Open-Source Analyst / Arabic (MSA) Linguist (CAT III) to support the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) Counterintelligence Operational Support Team (CIOST) mission at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia. This position supports AFOSI's counterintelligence and force protection mission through open-source research, translation, and cultural analysis to identify threats, trends, and opportunities in the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Key Responsibilities
Salary Range: $95,000 - $98,000 annually. Final compensation will be based on experience, qualifications, internal equity, and market data. DarkStar provides a competitive and comprehensive benefits package designed to support the well-being and long-term success of our full-time employees.

DarkStar Intelligence is seeking a motivated Open-Source Analyst / Arabic (MSA) Linguist (CAT III) to support the Air Force Office of Special Investigations (AFOSI) Counterintelligence Operational Support Team (CIOST) mission at Prince Sultan Air Base, Saudi Arabia. This position supports AFOSI's counterintelligence and force protection mission through open-source research, translation, and cultural analysis to identify threats, trends, and opportunities in the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR).
Key Responsibilities
- Translate, transcribe, and interpret foreign language materials, ensuring accuracy and cultural context.
- Conduct open-source research and analysis across news, social media, and regional publications to identify patterns and emerging threats.
- Develop cultural awareness briefs, reports, and presentations in support of AFOSI's counterintelligence and force protection operations.
- Provide linguistic and analytic support for collection, analysis, and dissemination of information relevant to mission objectives.
- Assist in Media Exploitation (MEDEX) reviews and ensure analytical products meet Intelligence Community standards.
- Clearance: Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
- Language Proficiency: ILR Level 3 or higher in reading, listening, and speaking (Modern Standard Arabic / Gulf Dialect).
- Experience: Minimum two (2) years of experience conducting research and analysis in the source language using foreign language websites and media.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to meet all CENTCOM medical, visa, and deployment requirements.
- Native or near-native proficiency in Arabic (Gulf Dialect).
- Prior experience as a military linguist, cultural advisor, or open-source analyst in the USCENTCOM AOR.
- Familiarity with AFOSI, DIA, or other DoD intelligence processes and reporting standards.

Additional Details
- Travel: Up to 30% within the USCENTCOM AOR.
- Work Environment: On-site at PSAB; 6-day work week (Saturday-Thursday); deployed OCONUS setting.
