Job Description :
In this role, you will be joining a team supporting customers, designing, implementing, and managing lab infrastructure to meet the customer requirements. In this role, you will build, configure, administer, and troubleshoot Linux servers and user workstation hardware and software; design and implement workgroup-scale networks; build and manage authentication, file-share, and other collaboration servers to support groups of heterogeneous client systems. You will work with cyber security staff to develop and apply hardening steps for systems for classified use to ICD-503 security controls, and other customer standards. Document system configuration for new and existing systems. Experience with centralized authentication technologies such as LDAP and Active Directory domains in supporting (Windows/Linux) cross-platform clients is desirable.

Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- Candidate must have 3-5 years of experience
- Candidate must have a Top Secret/SCI security clearance.
- Typically, a bachelor's degree in computer science or information technology
- Strong problem solving and communication skills.
- Security+ Certification or the ability to get certification within 3 months of hiring
- Knowledge of multiple specialties such as operating systems including working knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux operating systems administration
- Shell, Perl, and/or PowerCLI/PowerShell scripting
- Solid knowledge of protocols such as DNS and LDAP
- Ability to use verbal and written communication skills to present information to a diverse population (technical and non-technical).
- A bility to work well as a member of a team and independently.
- Knowledge of existing cloud technologies including principles and methods of scalability to match workloads.
- Experience with operating system update services such as YUM or DNF and RedHat Satellite.
- Knowledge of the security technologies: Trellix Anti-Virus, Host-Based Security System (HBSS), Carbon Black
Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
- Experience with Git configuration management.
- Amazon Web Services (AWS): EC2, S3 and EFS storage
- DevSecOps experience or familiarity
Security Clearance :
- Must have a Top Secret/SCI clearance
