About The Role
We are seeking a Quality Requirements Engineering and Compliance Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring that processes and deliverables for mission-critical FAA systems meet defined quality standards. This position works closely with engineers, developers, and program managers. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs.

Details
Target Salary Range: $104,000 - $166,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position. Salary is determined by various factors, including but not limited to, the scope and responsibilities of the position, the individual's experience, education, knowledge, skills, and competencies, as well as geographic location and business and contract considerations. Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.

About The Role
We are seeking a Quality Requirements Engineering and Compliance Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. The ideal candidates will be responsible for ensuring that processes and deliverables for mission-critical FAA systems meet defined quality standards. This position works closely with engineers, developers, and program managers. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain in-depth experience in federal contracting while supporting high-visibility aviation programs.
In this position, you will:
- Provide leadership and direction to Quality Requirements Engineering and Compliance team members.
- Communicate and coordinate directly with the Quality Director, solution team members, engineers, developers, suppliers, and program managers.
- Understand, establish and maintain requirements traceability across the program.
- Establish and maintain the corrective action system for the program.
- Support program risk assessments.
- Establish and maintain the counterfeit parts protection initiative for the program.
- Provide subject matter expertise on the ISO 9001 standard and contractual requirements.
Qualifications
- 10 years of experience, may have supervisory or lead experience
- U.S. Citizenship Required.
Must have the ability to obtain / maintain a Public Trust clearance.
Strong knowledge of quality frameworks and best practices.
Strong analytical, documentation, and problem-solving skills.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Ability to understand requirements traceability throughout the development life cycle.
Experience supporting risk assessments.
Experience establishing and maintaining corrective action systems. - Knowledge of system development life cycle (SDLC) and Agile/Scrum methodologies
- ISO 9001:2015 requirements certification
- Experience supporting FAA or aviation-related systems.
- Background in systems engineering (e.g., developing requirements, designing solutions, creating requirements traceability matrices for customer deliverables, etc.)
- Experience using automation, tools, or innovative processes to increase efficiency and effectiveness of the quality management system.
