We’re seeking an Operations Manager to lead production and supply chain
functions for a company known for developing advanced, mission-critical
technologies. In this role, you’ll oversee planning, procurement, and process
optimization to ensure world-class product delivery. You’ll guide a talented
team, streamline operations, and drive continuous improvement across
manufacturing and logistics.
Key Responsibilities
● Oversee Production and Supply Chain Operations: Manage MRP/MPS systems,
production scheduling, procurement, and inventory to ensure efficiency and on-time
delivery.
● Drive Process Improvements: Lead Lean or continuous improvement initiatives to
enhance workflows, reduce costs, and support sustainable growth.
● Lead and Develop Teams: Mentor and empower staff across production, logistics, and
quality to build a high-performing, collaborative culture.
● Supplier and Performance Management: Strengthen supplier partnerships, negotiate
effectively, and use KPI dashboards to track and improve operational results.
Key Qualifications
● Education & Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management,
Supply Chain, or Engineering, with 7+ years in operations/manufacturing and 3+ years
in leadership.
● Technical Expertise: Proficiency in ERP, MRP, and MPS systems, with strong analytical
and planning skills.
● Industry Background: Experience in defense, aerospace, or electronics manufacturing,
ideally within AS9100/ISO9001 quality frameworks.
● Leadership & Communication: Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, manage
complex operations, and communicate clearly across all levels.
Desired Qualifications
● Background in continuous improvement methodologies (Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen).
● Strong supplier development and negotiation experience.
● Track record of scaling operational capabilities to support company growth.
