Boeing Defense Space and Security (BDS) is seeking a Process Engineering Technical Specialists (Mid-Level or Senior) for the Oklahoma City Processes, Services & Tools team. This Process Engineer will analyze engineering design, manufacturing and product support requirements, and apply industry standard analysis methods and techniques to improve and optimize solutions for complex engineering and manufacturing processes throughout the value stream.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES

This position will be 100% onsite in Oklahoma City, OK.
This position requires the ability to obtain a US Security Clearance for which the US Government requires US Citizenship. An interim and/or final U.S. secret clearance Post Start is required.

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
Duties will include but not limited to:
- Develop and implement division processes while optimizing the effective application of new tool technology.
- Utilize a broad understanding of product design and build processes.
- Manage the ADO tasking responsibilities for the Process team.
- Apply principles of Lean Product Development, Theory of Constraints and Critical Chain Project Management to construct program planning models simulating the multi-functional dependencies of the product development lifecycle.
- Perform as site focal for LEAN activities and continuous improvement skills development.
- Oversee and coordinate Improvement Services requests for the site.
- Provide Value Stream Mapping services.
- Instruct others in continuous improvement tools and principles.

- BDS Engineering Candidates Desired.
- Receives general direction for work that is reviewed upon completion for adequacy in meeting objectives. Participates in determining objectives of assignment; plans, schedules, and arranges own activities to accomplish those objectives.
- Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems referring to established precedents and policies.
