Job Title : Publicly Available Information (PAI) Research Analyst
Location : Tampa, FL (MacDill Air Force Base)
Program Overview :
The U.S. Central Command (USCENTCOM) Vendor Threat Mitigation (VTM) Support Cell conducts vetting of all prime vendors providing goods and / or services to U.S. Forces located within the USCENTCOM Area of Responsibility (AOR) to ensure that USG funds do not support activities that are adversarial to U.S. forces.

The (PAI) Research Analyst is responsible for researching, analyzing, and reporting on information from open-source data, such as social media, news, and public databases.

Job Duties:
The (PAI) Research Analyst is responsible for researching, analyzing, and reporting on information from open-source data, such as social media, news, and public databases.
- Information collection: Develop strategies and methodologies for collecting PAI, and use various online sources like social media, news outlets, and public records.
- Analysis: Analyze PAI to identify trends and intelligence gaps concerning political, military, economic, social, and other issues.
- Product development: Produce PAI intelligence products, such as written reports and threat assessments, in response to specific intelligence requirements.
- Tool development: Develop, acquire, evaluate, and implement PAI collection tools and methodologies.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other government agencies, subject matter experts, and cross-functional teams to share information and techniques.
- Strategic support: Provide analytical support for operational and strategic planning, exercises, and mission objectives.
- Compliance: Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and policies regarding open-source data collection and use.
- Specialized skills: Provide written and verbal translation and possess subject matter expertise in specific geographic areas, technologies, or threat types.
Minimum Qualifications:
- US citizen
- Active Secret Clearance with at least one year remaining before reinvestigation requirement.
- Proficient in using online unclassified sources to conduct PAI research and reporting.
- Bachelor of Science or Bachelor of Arts degree in any field of study
- Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Suite of applications including Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint.
Desired Qualifications:
- Degree in Political Science, International Relations, Area Studies, Economics
- Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering, Counter Threat Finance, Banking Compliance
- Former 1N, 35F, 14NX, or other service equivalent
