Description
SAIC is seeking a Senior IT Integration Engineer to support the AF TENCAP HOPE 2.0 contract. The AF TENCAP HOPE 2.0 contract bridges intelligence community collection architectures, capabilities, and technologies with DoD operational and tactical requirements. This effort will deliver rapid, innovative, and cost-effective capabilities to meet warfighter needs, and will include bringing national capabilities to bear cross all warfighting domains spanning intelligence, surveillance, reconnaissance, combat applications, battlespace awareness, command and control, multi-level security and mission programs. This next generation approach shall employ the latest advancements in geolocation and tagging, sensor and data fusion, unconventional / asymmetric warfare, situational awareness, cyberspace and spectrum warfare, large data analytics, data lake, jamming technologies, sensor technologies, geo-registration to deliver a cutting-edge approach.
***This position requires an active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility and is hybrid customer site in Colorado Springs***
In the AF TENCAP HOPE 2.0 contract, the Senior Software Integration Engineer SME is responsible for orchestrating the seamless integration of new prototype systems and applications into existing DoD Weapons Systems. This role is instrumental in enhancing and securing the technological capabilities of AF TENCAP, ensuring the effective and efficient deployment of mission-critical solutions, especially within classified environments.

Target salary range: $120,001 - $160,000. The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.

Key Responsibilities:
- Integrate new software into government test facilities. Support LIMOPS execution.
- Enhance existing architectures and implement secure network improvements.
- Develop advanced infrastructure solutions, performing testing, validation, and documentation of new capabilities.
- Ensure interoperability at the protocol, network, application, and data layers to create cohesive systems.
- Conduct rigorous testing of fully integrated solutions to ensure readiness and compliance.
Qualifications
REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:
- Active Top Secret Clearance with the ability to obtain a TS/SCI.
- Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Computer/Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field with 9 years' experience.
- DoD 8570/8140 certifications or equivalent (e.g., Security+ or higher).
- Experience in Installation, configuration, and testing of software systems
- Experience with data architectures withing the Intelligence Community
- Experience in Agile methodologies and tools.
- Experience with Cloud environments and IaC Tools
- Experience with Automation and Orchestration Tools.
DESIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Experience in Model-Based Systems Engineering (MBSE) and Digital Engineering tools (e.g., Cameo Systems Modeler, SysML).
