Nightwing is seeking a Property and Logistics Manager in support of fast-paced and important missions across multiple locations within the United States. This Manager will report directly to the overall Nightwing Property and Logistics Manager.
The manager is expected to interact with a variety of internal and external customers daily, while building relationships and ensuring the highest level of customer satisfaction. This individual must be a leader, self-motivated, detail-oriented, and able to independently prioritize tasking in a dynamic environment. Tasking on this job will vary significantly from day-to-day.
Ultimately the Manager is responsible, and accountable for Nightwing owned and Customer owned material/equipment valued at over $43 million dollars while also ensuring logistics operations run smoothly to enable mission success.
Duties and Responsibilities:
The Property and Logistics Manager will be responsible for providing Management and Leadership for a direct team of 6 team members as well as other indirect property custodians. Operations span 6 sites.
The Property and Logistics Manager will ensure all Property and Logistics operations at each site, to include: material receiving, material control, warehousing, storage, inventory control, material fulfillment, kitting, property management, packaging, shipping, transportation and freight management are compliant to Government regulations and in accordance with Nightwing Property Management policies and procedures.
The Property and Logistics Manager will be responsible for driving continuous improvements, improving efficiency and changing management for the organization and will interface daily Logistics, Supply Chain, and Program leaders. It is also critical to foster good relationships with the Customers.
The Property and Logistics Manager will provide performance and career development guidance, will foster a highly collaborative team environment, while developing and maintaining a high level of ethical behavior within the team.

Requirements:
- 6+ years of applicable experience
- Must be a US Citizen and possess or be able to obtain a Top Secret Security Clearance in a reasonable time frame. May be required to obtain other customer clearances. Active TS SCI is preferred
- Must have prior experience managing in a government property and logistics environment with personnel management and administration
- Thrive and multi-task in a high speed, intense environment which requires quick response and a high degree of flexibility
- Knowledge of government FAR and DFAR rules and regulations
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Power Point
- Experience and successful execution in preparing Proposals and Basic of Estimates (BOE) for Logistics and Asset Management functions in support of Program pursuits
- Demonstrated successful track record of managing, developing and mentoring individuals
- Proven ability to develop strategies to address continuous improvement and enterprise best practices, identifying and analyzing property and logistics process deficiencies and providing solutions to address a variety of complex requirements
- Critical thinking skills which quantify the impact to functional organizations in terms of quality, cost and schedule
- Strong communication and intrapersonal skills, leadership abilities, negotiation skills, and the ability to work in a cross-functional environment. Must be able to build relationships with key stakeholders while also leading individual contributors
- Occasional Travel may be required

- Active TS SCI clearance
- Knowledge of Property Management in a government contractor environment
- Certified Professional Property Specialist (CPPS)
Education Requirements:
- Bachelor degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain Management
