What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by following security-related procedures, adhering to site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, applying conflict resolution techniques when appropriate.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location and its perimeter to help to deter unwanted activity and to observe and report any irregularities.
- Monitor access points and identify any unauthorized individuals and/or suspicious activities, taking appropriate actions within the guidelines provided.
- Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities, incidents, and any unusual occurrences identified during patrols.
- Collaborate with local law enforcement and other emergency personnel as required by site protocols.
- Operate and maintain assigned security equipment, including firearms, in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific regulations.
- Remain alert to potential security-related threats and communicate observations in a timely manner to the appropriate personnel.

- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Have at least 1 year of experience in armed security, law enforcement, or military roles.
- Possess an armed guard card or license as required by applicable laws and regulations.
- Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
