Job Description

As a Security Officer - Flex Patrol Driver in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents and maintain a welcoming environment by conducting routine patrols throughout retail locations. This driving position involves remaining highly visible, supporting store operations, and delivering exceptional customer service while addressing any security-related concerns that arise. What You'll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and responding appropriately to emergency situations when needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm and problem-solving manner, maintaining a professional demeanor at all times.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify any unusual conditions.
• Observe and report any suspicious activity, security-related hazards, or maintenance issues to management and/or the appropriate authorities.
• Assist customers, employees, and visitors by providing information or guidance as needed while maintaining a visible Allied Universal presence.
• Complete required reports and documentation accurately and in a timely manner as directed by site procedures.
• Work collaboratively with retail staff and/or law enforcement as necessary to address incidents or emergencies at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Applicants must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
