Arete is seeking a motivated Proposal Analyst to support the Maritime Airborne Systems (MAS) sector. This role is ideal for early-career professionals interested in business development, proposal writing, and federal contracting. You will assist in the end-to-end proposal process, working closely with cross-functional teams to ensure high-quality submissions that align with company strategy. This position is based out of our Tucson, AZ office and is an exempt, non-supervisory, full-time position.

The salary range for this role is $50,000/yr to $60,000/yr; however, Arete considers several factors when extending an offer of employment, including but not limited to: the position and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, education/training, and key skills

- Assist in the development, review, and editing of proposals for federal contracts (including RFPs, RFIs, RFQs, and ROMs).
- Support market research and data gathering to qualify business opportunities.
- Help coordinate proposal team activities, schedules, and deliverables.
- Contribute to the creation and maintenance of proposal templates and reusable content libraries.
- Ensure compliance with Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) and company standards.
- Collaborate with program management, technical staff, and support teams to gather accurate information for proposals.
- Track proposal metrics and assist in process improvement initiatives.
- Perform other duties as assigned.

Experiences and Background We Look For (Required Skills):
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- U.S. Citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance.

- Internship or coursework related to proposal writing, business development, or federal contracting.
- Experience with SharePoint or similar collaboration tools.
- Familiarity with federal contracting processes or DoD environments.
