Nightwing is seeking a Site Security Manager in support of a Special Projects ELITE (SPE) security program located near Sandy, Utah. The Site Security Manager will manage the security of a Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Program, maintaining compliance with NISPOM, all applicable Sponsor security policies and procedures; all applicable Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs); and all other applicable Government security policies and procedures. In addition, the Site Security Manager will perform as the Nightwing Lead. As the Site and Security Site lead, the right candidate will be motivated by day-to-day responsibilities of a small team as well as a facility with mostly landlord provided services. This role encompasses a variety of duties and responsibilities to include daily communication with customers, other program essential personnel, and security counterparts.
Clearance Requirements: TS/SCI with POLY
Responsibilities to Anticipate:
Maintain the overall integrity and operational capability of the SCIF which will require coordination with Nightwing program management, facility engineers, and landlord representatives
Support programmatic requirements which will include procurement related activities
Manage SCIF and facility security requirements in accordance with NISPOM and ICD 705 standards, maintain SCIF accreditation and SOPs documentation, process visit certifications and access control, and support customer required inspections to ensure successful government audits of classified programs and facilities
Prepare and maintain a ready state for customer security inspections which will include leading and conducting security self-Inspections
Manage the facilities' access control, CCTV, access control databases and other related electronic security and communication systems/networks
Conduct safe and door combinations as required
Provide the day-to-day oversight of a contracted guard force to include their operational transactions of access control and visit certifications and change safe and door combinations.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelors degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant security experience, or
an advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years' experience;
Proficiency and proven experience with SCI security requirements, Intelligence Community Directives (ICD), the NISPOM, and other applicable Government/customer security directives, policies and procedures; positive experience with the Defense Counterintelligence & Security Agency or other Cognizant Security Agency personnel;
Experience using clearance databases to include Scattered Castles, DISS, and Access Commander, CCURE, and other access control and monitoring systems
Ability to plan and organize, prioritize, and schedule activities and workload while meeting personal and team objectives in a fast-paced environment;
Ability to work and take actions independently, and solve problems by making sound decisions;
Ability to communicate professionally both verbally and in writing;
Ability to build rapport, interact with and foster a cooperative work environment with a diverse population of employees, subcontractors, and customers;
Attention to detail and follow-through when completing tasks; and
Proficient with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
