Are you skilled at turning complex technical information into clear, engaging documentation? As a Technical Editor and Writer 3, you'll be essential in developing high-quality technical manuals, user guides, and specifications that effectively communicate intricate details to a broad audience. Your work will ensure our technical publications are precise, consistent, and user-friendly, supporting our commitment to excellence.
Ideal candidates will have at least 6 years of experience with a related bachelor's degree (or 4 years with a master's). You should be proficient in writing, editing, and overseeing the creation of illustrative materials like drawings and diagrams. Strong skills with Microsoft Suite, multitasking, and being a team player are crucial. A required confidential clearance is also necessary to qualify for this role.
Nice-to-have skills include familiarity with technical specifications, blueprints, engineering illustrations, and trade journals, to smoothly acquire subject knowledge.
Preferred candidates will possess relevant education and experience levels, comfort working independently, and potentially some travel or specialized certifications.
