Position Overview
STi is seeking a Consultant to support the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) under the Industrial Capability and Warstopper Support Services program. The Consultant will provide analytical, operational, and programmatic support in supply chain risk management, industrial capability analysis, and logistics process improvement to strengthen DLA’s readiness and industrial base posture.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct industrial capability analyses and assess supply chain risks across critical materials and components.
• Support development of mitigation strategies to address industrial base gaps and readiness challenges.
• Utilize MS Office Suite (including Access) to manage and analyze large datasets and reporting deliverables.
• Collaborate with DLA, DoD, and industry partners to develop process improvement recommendations and maintain accurate data tracking.
• Assist in preparing reports, metrics, and executive-level briefings for DLA leadership.
• Integrate Lean and supply-chain management principles to improve workflow efficiency and process reliability.
Required Qualifications:
• Active Secret Clearance
• Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree from an accredited university
• Information Assurance Certification: Level II IT Certification (required)
Experience:
• 8 years of professional experience
• Minimum 3 years supporting Federal clients, the military, or as a civil servant
Functional Expertise: Supply chain risk management (DoD experience preferred)
Technical Expertise: Skilled in Microsoft Office Suite including MS Access; capable of conducting industrial capability analyses
Preferred Certifications
• Coursework or certification in one or more of the following:
• APICS Supply Chain Certification
• Program Management Professional (PMP)
• Lean Six Sigma Black Belt
