Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking an Enterprise Voice Engineer to join a Federal Program located on Scott AFB, IL. The Enterprise Voice Engineer will perform sustainment, maintenance, Problem and Change management services to help ensure secure, reliable, and uninterrupted, availability of the Voice Services.
Responsibilities of the Enterprise Voice Engineer include:
· Maintain and support a large-scale, resilient IP voice and video communications infrastructure.
· Configure, manage, and troubleshoot voice, video, and data networks; ensure documentation and diagramming are accurate and up to date.
· Perform system maintenance, capacity planning, and implement configuration changes with proper documentation.
· Configure calling search spaces, route plans, partitions, route lists, and device profiles.
· Implement and manage Cisco or Juniper routing and switching devices.
· Support distributed firewall infrastructure and contribute to technical policy development.
· Analyze and resolve complex technical issues, including SIP signaling and call-flow troubleshooting.
· Diagnose and resolve remote site registration, signaling, and media-related problems.
· Validate change requests for accuracy and compliance.
· Perform fault analysis and configuration for voice subscribers, call handlers, routing rules, and network devices.
Qualifications for the Enterprise Voice Engineer include:
· Bachelor's degree with 2-4 years of relevant experience, or Master's degree with less than 2 years of experience.
· DoD 8750 certification at IAT Level II (Security+ CE or equivalent).
· Hands-on experience with Cisco, Avaya, or Oracle voice platforms (e.g., CUCM, Unity, CUBE, SBC, Avaya Aura).
· Strong knowledge of SIP signaling and call flows.
· Proven ability to perform advanced fault analysis for routing, switching, security, and large-scale voice implementations.
· Knowledge of Oracle SBCs and voice media gateway appliances.
· Background in distributed firewall infrastructure and IPSec MPLS VPNs.
· Expertise in BGP routing protocols and QoS configuration for voice traffic.
· Understanding of IPSec implementation and troubleshooting.
· Must have an active TS/SCI government security clearance.
Compensation for the Enterprise Voice Engineer includes:
· Salary Range: $55,000 - $65,000 depending on experience
