Job Description
As a Security Officer - Chemical Patrol Driver in Boyertown, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Chemical/Petrochemical, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will help to deter security-related incidents by conducting routine patrols throughout a dynamic chemical and petrochemical location. You will remain visible, monitor assigned areas, and engage with individuals onsite, providing outstanding customer service and communication. This is a driving post that requires meeting Allied Universal's driver policy requirements. What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies and/or emergency response activities as needed.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols around the chemical or petrochemical location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
- Monitor for and report on any suspicious activities or security-related hazards throughout the location.
- Follow all instructions related to site access control, including checking credentials and verifying authorized personnel.
- Document and communicate all incidents, observations, and actions taken during the shift as required by Allied Universal and site protocols.
- Remain alert to potential security-related risks unique to chemical and petrochemical environments and report concerns promptly to appropriate parties.

- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- Must have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
