Job Description
As a Security Professional Patrol Driver Full-Time CRE in Costa Mesa, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more.
As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol commercial real estate locations, helping to deter security-related incidents and providing a visible, reassuring presence. You will interact with tenants, visitors, and staff to deliver exceptional customer service, support access control, and assist with day-to-day security-related needs. This is a driving post, where your role helps foster a welcoming atmosphere while upholding Allied Universal's values of teamwork, care, and integrity.

What You'll Do:
- Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
- Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
- Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
- Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
- Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer service by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as appropriate.
- Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the commercial real estate property and its perimeter to help to deter potential issues and observe for suspicious activity.
- Observe and report any unusual activity or security-related concerns to the appropriate personnel at Allied Universal.
- Support access control procedures by monitoring entry and exit points as required by site policies.
- Assist visitors and tenants with directions and general inquiries to help maintain a welcoming environment.
- Maintain detailed and accurate logs and reports of all patrols, incidents, and activities during the shift.
- Participate in training sessions and briefings to stay informed about site-specific updates and protocols.

- Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available
Minimum Requirements:
- A valid driver's license is required in the state where the job is located.
- At least one year of security-related experience is required.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
